Summer Job in IT!

Are you a student nearing the end of your studies in Computer Science, Interaction and Design, or another similar IT program? 

ITS is looking for IT students from Umeå University who want to try a role as a developer and work with socially beneficial IT in one of our many teams for seven weeks.

• Summer job as a developer at ITS
• Full-time for seven weeks during June-August 2026

This summer, we are opening the door for several active students nearing the end of their studies in computer science, interaction and design, or systems science. The summer job is suitable for those who want to try a role as a developer in a development team.

Our development teams have very different tasks, ranging from operations and developer support to pure UX teams. We use a technology stack that includes .Net, Java, Windows, and Linux. Good ability to express oneself in speech and writing in Swedish and English, as well as good collaboration and initiative skills, are seen as essential qualities in applicants.

All summer employees will be challenged according to their abilities and welcomed as part of the team. We also hope that many of them find their place here and can continue as student workers after the summer.
